The
Polk's Corps Battle Flag was the invention of Major-General Leonidas
Polk. The original design was simply a red St. George's Cross
on a blue background with 13 stars - the white border around the
cross was added mid-1862.
Our fully sewn cotton Polk's
Corps Flags are hand-made in America by experienced craftsmen
using domestic cotton and feature a tough canvas duck header with
solid brass grommets. We make them primarily for reenactments
but their authentic appearance make them the perfect accent for
at-home decorating.
