The Third National flag of the Confederacy came to be known as the blood-stained banner and was adopted just prior to the close of the war. The only surviving examples were 2nd National flags that had been modified.

Our fully sewn cotton Third National Confederate Flags have been painstakingly stitched here in the U.S. by experienced American craftsmen and carefully finished with a durable canvas duck header and solid brass grommets.
