On
George Washington's birthday in February, 1861, Abraham Lincoln
attended a ceremony at Independence Hall in Philadelphia on his
way to the inauguration and raised a large 34-star U.S. flag.
Several months later, on July 4th, 1861, the 34-star flag was
officially adopted by the Union.
Our fully sewn cotton 34-Star
Union Flags are U.S. made by experienced craftsmen using domestic
cotton and feature sewn stripes and appliqued stars. We make them
primarily for reenactments but their authentic appearance make
them the perfect accent for at-home decorating too!
