On
George Washington's birthday in February, 1861, Abraham Lincoln
attended a ceremony at Independence Hall in Philadelphia on his
way to the inauguration and raised a large 34-star U.S. flag.
Several months later, on July 4th, 1861, the 34-star flag was
officially adopted by the Union.
Our outdoor nylon 34-star
Union Civil War flags are crafted using 200-denier Dupont SolarMax
nylon. Hems are sewn with a double lock-stitched row of strong
polyester thread with four rows on the fly hem and the flags are
finished with a tough polyester duck header and solid brass grommets.
Important:
Our sewn Civil War flags are made to order. Please allow us 2-4
weeks to complete your flag. |
