The
Second National flag was officially adopted by the Congress of
the C.S.A. on May 1st, 1863. It was nicknamed the "Stainless
Banner" and was also sometimes called the "Stonewall
Jackson Flag." The 2nd National was eventually replaced because
it was occasionally mistaken for the flag of surrender on the
battlefield.
Our fully sewn nylon Confederate
Second National Flags are hand stitched here in the U.S. by experienced
American craftsmen and finished with a heavy-duty canvas duck
header and solid brass grommets.
