The
Second National flag was officially adopted by the Congress of
the C.S.A. on May 1st, 1863. It was nicknamed the "Stainless
Banner" and was also sometimes called the "Stonewall
Jackson Flag." The 2nd National was eventually replaced because
it was occasionally mistaken for the flag of surrender on the
battlefield.
Our dyed nylon Confederate
Second National flags are made in America using Dupont SolarMax
nylon and are finished with a strong canvas duck header and solid
brass grommets. Double-sewn hems and four lock-stitched rows on
the fly hem keep your flag flying longer.
