The
Second National flag was officially adopted by the Congress of
the C.S.A. on May 1st, 1863. It was nicknamed the "Stainless
Banner" and was also sometimes called the "Stonewall
Jackson Flag." The 2nd National was eventually replaced because
it was occasionally mistaken for the flag of surrender on the
battlefield.

canvas duck header and solid brass grommets.
