The
First National flag, popularly referred to as the Stars &
Bars was, as the name suggests, the first flag of the fledgling
Confederate States of America. This design was scrapped in May
of 1863 because it was often mistaken for the Union flag on the
battlefield.
Our fully sewn cotton Confederate
First National Flags are carefully stitched here in the U.S. by
experienced American craftsmen and finished with a heavy-duty
canvas duck header and solid brass grommets. |
