I am not a Dem. I am not a liberal. However, I am of the view that the Bush admin always wanted to finish the job in Iraq in order to give the oil companies what they wanted. Cheney facilitated this, and now he is disgraced. If you don't think oil was the main reason we went in, Largo, then I urge you to read and study, as the evidence is irrefutable. I don't hate Bush. I just think he has botched his presidency. I don't personally dislike him. I actually feel sorry for him, that he listened to that smooth liar Cheney. But the entire US fell for Cheney's lies, so Bush had no chance. So I feel sorry for him because he trusted a bad dude. Largo, I am an independent. I am not a Dem. I am not a liberal. And as far as energy consumption is concerned, when people like George Clooney and Al Gore can't bring themselves to fly in commercial jets and instead, zip around in private jets, they better not lecture the common folk about conserving energy.
