The Minuteman Project: Exposing the Truth About Illegal Immigration
Ever since the images of thousands of illegal Mexicans waving Mexican flags on American streets flashed across our TV screens, Americans who never gave a thought to the consequences of a growing illegal population are now suddenly concerned and are telling the politicians who represent them.
And while the politicians in Washington are scrambling to cover their butts with constituents while trying hard not to alienate the Hispanic population that may soon be voting, the media is assuring Americans that these new immigrants are no different than the waves of immigrants who came to America a century or so ago. But is the notion that the overwhelming majority of illegal Mexicans yearn to be Americans an accurate one?
If you visit the Minuteman Project website and read the hatemail, much of which comes from illegal Mexicans, you may come away with a different opinion. Here’s a sampling (the capitalization is not mine):

There are a lot more of these. Visit the Minuteman Project website if you have the stomach. The thought of these people waving Mexican flags as they marched on American soil is not half as disturbing as the realization that some of them may have been cynically waving the American flag.

I immagrated from Ireland in 1959 the leagle way, and I love America, I have hired these mexican people over the years, at first they are ok, but as time goes on they change, and if you are a nice person they take advantage of you, they never stop pushing to get more out of you, I’m speaking from years of exspearance. out of a 100 I have had work for me only 4 have been good continuily, you have to remember that when you come from a country that you have to lie and steel to get anything, it’s bred into you from very young to be deshonest. you can take the mexican out of mexico but you can’t take the mexico out of the mexican.I pray that Bush does the right thing and stops the crime wave, and closes the borders. or were in for alot of greef in the near future, as you seen on monday there starting to push, we better wake up before it’s to late. we still have a chance to stop it, lets all vote, get off the couches, and lets take our country back, God save America.
