Don’t Be Fooled By Illegals Waving American Flags

The sudden appearance of American flags at this weekend’s pro-illegal immigration rallys should not be accepted as a reflection of the attitudes of the marchers. The same people were all too happy last week to wave the Mexican flag and shout anti-American slogans. Rather, the abundance of american flags were no doubt supplied to the marchers by treacherous organizers who cynically believe the American public can be easily cowed.

The huge numbers of illegals hitting the streets should serve as a bracing slap in the face to America that the situation may turn ugly. As Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington says, “What we are seeing in the streets is a naked assertion of power. This isn’t really about immigration — it’s about power.”

Polls show that an overwhelming majority of Americans are offended by the aggressive and arrogant behavior of illegals, which suggests that the American people may not be so easily cowed. Most Americans understand that people who bypass our immigration laws by sneaking into our country should not get away with demands to be accorded the full rights of citizenship.

The concept is simple. If I get into your car and drive it off, that doesn’t make it mine. So the debate is not over whether illegals have a legitimate claim on American soil. They do not. But rather, do the American people have the will to stand up and take back the huge portions of our country that are being stolen on behalf of Mexico.

Preach on brother! I too have reached the boiling point. They just want to give away everything we have spent the last 200 years building.

In a web experiment I started at the beginning of last month to try and gage which people are most likely to burn flags of what countries, I came upon a surprising result…or maybe not so surprising considering recent world events. In the course of the last month and a half, most people have come looking to burn the Mexican flag, funny thing being many aren’t coming from the US.

Why is there this pent up hostility against Mexico from all over the world?

I mostly find images of people burning American flags, but maybe that’s more a function of what interests the media.

As far as American hostility towards Mexico, I don’t think there’s a lot of that. The issue is should people from any country be allowed to break into our country, then claim the same rights as legitimate citizens.

If you woke up one day to find someone had entered your house during the night and laid claim to the spare bedroom, would you allow them to stay and give them an equity stake in your home? I doubt it.

    Outstanding blog.

I know you’re in the business of selling flags and I wish you the best. However, what is really important is that you are patriots first and that is evident.

God bless everything you do! America needs you right now.
