Plenty of Mexican Flags But Few American Flags In Phoenix Protest
Downtown Phoenix was a sea of marchers yesterday, but in place of American flags, many in the crowd waved the flag of Mexico. Like foxes protesting the farmer’s desire to keep them out of the henhouse, a large percentage of the crowd were illegal immigrants from Mexico incensed by the fact that the U.S. government may take steps to identify them and extricate them from U.S. soil.
What is at stake is nothing less than the ability of the United States to remain a sovereign nation. The profusion of Mexican flags and the lack of American flags plainly reveals the motives of the Hispanic participants. Numerous radical Hispanic groups maintain that most of the southwestern U.S. was stolen from Mexico 150 years ago and they’re taking it back. And they’re doing it with a massive amount of assistance of non-Hispanic Americans.
There are a significant number of Americans, raised in an atmosphere of peace and safety, who cling to a notion of a world without borders. One confused 29-year-old non-Hispanic in the crowd, Malissa Greer, expressed that sentiment in this absurd way, “God created all of us. He’s not a God of the United States, he’s a God of the world.”
While I agree wholeheartedly with Greer’s statement, it has absolutely nothing to do with the current situation. Thousands upon thousands of Mexicans as well as a significant number of people from other countries are streaming across our border with Mexico carrying with them utter contempt for U.S. law. It’s true that the majority of the illegals are working for a living, but they are also reaping the benefits of free education, free health care and a lot of other assistance that most Americans can’t obtain but are forced to pay for through taxes.
The fact that Mexicans are coming here illegally and taking as much as we will give them while waving the Mexican flag in our face should serve as a warning to the American people. If we fail to control our borders soon, the decades of peace and safety we’ve enjoyed will be over.

While the Thought feels that our Mexican friends are not really as malicious, he can understand the discontent you have when it comes to illegal immigrants. However he also feels bad for said immigrants. Usually illegals have to live with awful jobs and make very little money once they come to America, and clearly they would not be doing this if things were nice and rosy back home. They are desparate. So cut the them some slack, and if you have to send them packing at least wave good bye.

I agree,
They are criminals the second they “knowing” step onto US soil, at that point they have NO rights to anything except jail. Stop giving their children space in the schools, free medical care while they drain the US of millions of $$$, they pay no taxes.
Mr. Bush build that wall, let the Military protect our borders from this onrush of “criminals”. Legal entry into the US is allowed, let them follow the rules, get a job, pay taxes, learn english, leave their flag on their side of the border and step “legally” onto to US soil, become a US citizen and then wave “Old Glory”

Tom replies to the Thought-
Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not at all against immigration - immigration is an important component to the health of our country. And I am not against immigration from Mexico. In fact, I would welcome a program that would make it relatively easy for Mexicans to come here and gain citizenship legally.
As far as helping those who are already here, my company donates a considerable amount of money to our local free health clinic here in Utah, and 90% of the patients are illegal Mexicans. No parent should have a sick child and nowhere to go - period.
The issue is simply one of legality and intention. People who come here should do so within the structure of U.S. law and should come with the intent to become U.S. citizens.

Tony, did you make that video? Wow - your talent is astounding!
Now seriously Tony, your video sucks because it doesn’t say anything. That is, it doesn’t say anything about Bush. You could perform the same amateurish edit job on a video of anybody speaking and have a similar result.
But it does say something about you. It makes you look like the lightweight you are because there is no intellectual content. It’s only interesting to people like yourself who love to hate Bush.

Why are foreigners discriminated against in Mexico?A news report stated that jobs there are reserved first for mexican citizens.Foreigners cannot own land in certain parts of mexico. They are more strict on foreiners than most countrys are. These people need to count their blessings. The US is very lienant on them.I say “LOVE AMERICA OR LEAVE IT”.PUT UP THE WALL,KEEP THEM OUT!! The US made it just fine without them in previous years, and can do it again.A true American flys the US flag, not a FOREIGN FLAG!

It’s typical that the media completely ignored the fact that these illegal criminals all started their “boycotts” and “protests” by waving their little Mexican and Cuban flags around. It wasn’t until the pro-immigrantion organizers got a hold of them and literally handed them American flags that the obscenity was stopped.
Clearly, these freeloaders are not interested in becoming American if they have to be told by others to carry the American flag. They have proven that they are unworthy of becoming American and should be shipped back to Mexico where they can wave their Mexican flag all they want.
